What is Main Street Kent
Main Street Kent is a non-profit agency affiliated with the National Historic Trust for Preservation that focuses on revitalizing downtown Kent.

Who is Involved?
The City of Kent, Kent State University, local businesses and community members have decided to put their resources behind this project because they feel it is an excellent way to jump-start private investments in the downtown. Main Street Kent currently has 15 Board Member and over 75 volunteers working on this important project.


How will this program affect me and my business?
Main Street Ohio has made dramatic positive changes to small towns throughout Ohio. For every $1 spent on Main Street Ohio, $22 is reinvested back into the community through private investment.


What can I do to become involved?
Volunteer to serve on one of four committees:
   Organization, Design, Promotion, or Economic Restructuring
Make a donation to Main Street Kent
Become a member of Main Street Kent—
   a membership drive will be implemented soon
Invest in downtown.
